Stretches for Diaphragm Pain During Pregnancy

Posted by Jesse Lillejord on
The one thing we see a lot in our female chiropractic clinic is diaphragm pain. We specialize in prenatal chiropractic care and women don't always recognize or talk about diaphragm pain. The pain right under the rib cage. It gets really tight and usually goes with round ligament pain. We recommend using an exercise ball at home to get a good stretch. Get on the ball and lean in. Go into a safe side body stretch. Your back is extended which is helping your low back in addition to the diaphragm pain. You also have space for belly which makes this easy for pregnant women to accomplish.
