Clogged Tear Duct

Clogged Tear Duct:
Newborn babies can sometimes develop a clogged tear duct [lacrimal duct] after birth because the passage is so narrow. Most resolve on their own but here are a few easy techniques to try at home to help. Using a warm, soft cloth, gently apply pressure in the inner corner of the eye and sweep under the eye. Repeat 2-3x per eyes ad needed. You could also put a few drops of breastmilk on the duct to help clear any blockages.
