Each organization listed below is set up to receive charitable donations and is commonly referenced in Minnesota community support resources.
Women’s Foundation of Minnesota - Immigrant Rapid Response Fund
Women’s Foundation of Minnesota - Immigrant Rapid Response Fund – rapid, accountable emergency grants to frontline orgs (Women’s Foundation is a nonprofit; this is a hosted fund). (Women's Foundation of Minnesota)
The Immigrant Rapid Response Fund (IRRF) was created by a group of philanthropic leaders close to the communities most impacted to ensure that resources move quickly and responsibly during immigration-related emergencies. As enforcement actions, policy changes, and sudden disruptions continue to impact families, IRRF provides fast, community-informed funding to trusted organizations responding on the ground.
Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM)
Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) – immigration legal representation (nonprofit; 501(c)(3)). (ILCM)
The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) is a nonprofit organization that provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota. ILCM also works to educate the community about immigration matters and advocates for public policies which respect the universal human rights of immigrants.
Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (MIBF) –
Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (MIBF) – pays immigration bonds; serves Minnesota (nonprofit; 501(c)(3)). (Give Lively)
The Midwest Immigrant Bond Fund (MIBF) is a volunteer-run, community-powered revolving fund working across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Wisconsin to help free people from ICE detention.
When someone is detained by ICE, paying bond can be the difference between staying jailed or coming home while they continue their immigration case. By covering the cost of bond, MIBF helps bring people home and keep families and communities connected.
Because MIBF is a revolving fund, bond money is returned at the end of a case and reused to help free someone else, stretching the impact of every gift, again and again.
