Ergo Baby Omni 360 | Carrier Review

The Ergobaby Omni 360 baby carrier is a top ranking option in our review. With our Baby Tula carrier review, we looked at 6 major features//characteristics: the core support, the low back support, the shoulder support, how easy it is to put on alone, baby hip position, & cost.

The Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier supports four different positions. It is breathable and a great option for all seasons. Designed to grow with your baby from their earliest newborn stage through toddlerhood by confidently supporting children between 7 and 45 pounds. With strong lower back, core and pelvic floor support it is a great option for all moms.

Ergo Baby carriers are CPSIA and ASTM (Consumer Product Safety) compliant.

1. Ergo Baby Omni 360 Core Support

In our Ergo Baby carrier review, we looked the overall core and pelvic floor support that it provided. It scored a 5 out of 5 in core support, making it an ideal option for moms recovering from a c-section or those who need extra core or pelvic floor support.

This particular baby carrier is great for those dealing with diastasis recti and other postpartum core canister challenges. Similarly, we recommend this one to our c-section moms who need all the support!

2. The Back Support

In our Ergo Baby carrier review, we were SO impressed with the amount of low back support the carrier provided. The Omni 360 scored an 5 out of 5 in back support & our top recommendation for those with back pain. There is a strap that lays across the low back, in the lumbosacral area. The strap location helps provide support to this area and is very well cushioned.

3. The Shoulder Support

This carrier has adequate shoulder support, but like most carriers it’s not the greatest. We gave it a 3 out of 5 overall. The shoulder straps are well cushioned, however, the straps do not cross in the back, it goes straight across. [Having a cross-back design helps take some of the load off the shoulders as baby grows!]

4. How Easy Is It to Get On?

When it comes to getting this baby carrier on solo, we gave it a 4 out of 5! We found some difficulty hooking the back strap, which you can see demonstrated in the video above. It is still relatively simple to get on without the help of others.

5. Babe’s Positioning & Support in the Omni 360 Carrier

This particular carrier provides great support for babe’s growing hips! It adjusts easily to support proper hip development, and encourages a nice wide "M" position for baby as they are held close to your chest. So, it scored a 5 out of 5 for ‘baby hip position’ in our carrier review!

The Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier supports four different positions: front carry facing in, front carry facing out, back carry, & side carry! Designed to grow with your baby from their earliest newborn stage through toddlerhood by confidently supporting children between 7 and 45 pounds.

6. The Cost

The Ergo Baby Omni 360 is affordable, priced at $179.00. You can purchase this baby carrier on Amazon or directly from ergobaby.com
